Joseph J. Cefalu, III

Joseph J. Cefalu is an associate practicing in the Casualty Litigation section of the Baton Rouge office, and is also a member of the firm’s recruiting committee. Joseph attended Louisiana State University and obtained a bachelor’s degree in the field of accounting. Joseph then received his Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, where he was also a member of the Louisiana Law Review.
Joseph practices in the areas of casualty, tort and insurance defense with an emphasis on workers' compensation matters on behalf of employers, insurers and self-insured funds. Joseph also has experience in defending trucking and premises liability cases, lease disputes, interdictions, judicial commitments, successions and unmanned aircraft systems (a.k.a drones) regulations.
